Kendine has tarzı ile siyasi moda ikonu haline gelen Michelle Obama , Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti başkanı Hu Jintao onuruna verilen yemekte herkesi şaşırtarak Alexander McQueen tasarımı kırmızı bir elbise tercih etti. Kennedy'lerden bu yana Beyaz Sarayın gördüğü en şık first lady olarak adlandırılan ve genelde  sade kıyafetler tercih eden Obama'nın organze McQueen'i büyük ilgi topladı.

Michelle Obama who has been a political fashion icon with her distinctive style has surprised everyone wearing a red Alexander McQeen gown in the dinner for the honour of China's president Hu Jintao. Obama has been referred to be the most elegant first lady ever since Kennedy's , she generally chooses clear-cut outfits but this time she has gone down a bomb with her organza McQueen.

DIY Vatka / DIY Shoulder Pad

Sonunda uzun zamandır iğnelerle tutturulmuş ama bir türlü dikilmemiş vatkamı tamamladım.

Finally , I've completed my shoulder pad which was pinned up ageeees ago but was not sewed somehow.

Alt kısmına yarım vatka şeklinde bir keçe kestim. Önce siyah danteli uç kısımlarından , sık aralıklarla büzgüler koyarak diktim.Sonra farklı desenli gri bir dantelle aynı uygulamayı yaptım. En alt kısma ise dikiş yerleri kamufle olsun diye siyah bir sutaşı diktim.

I've  cut a shoulder pad shaped  hairfelt. First , I have sewed a black lace from the head part by putting frequent puckers.Later , I've done the same technic with the grey lace. I've sewed a black soutache to camouflage the stiches.

Bu resimde katlar daha belirgin. Bir öncekinde  sutaşı da gözükmüyordu bunda rahatlıkla görebilirsiniz. Şimdilik üşengeçliğimden dikmemiş olsam da en yakın zamanda siyah kazağımın tek omzuna yerleştirmeyi düşünüyorum. Sonucun az çok nasıl olacağını paylaşmak için üzerine doğru tutarak fotoğrafını çektim,bakalım beğenicek misiniz?

The layers are more significant in this picture. The soutache did not seem in the previous one as well but you can see it readily in this one. I haven' sewed it because of my laziness but I have a plan to place it to the shoulder of a black pullover of mine. I took a picture of it to show you how the final result would be when it would  be finished by holding  it with my hand.

Yine bir "Hangi ünlüye daha çok yakışmış?" postu ile karşınızdayım. Bu sefer Nina Ricci imzalı siyah ipek elbiseyi Kate Beckinsale mi  Kim Kardashian mı daha iyi taşımış ona bakıcaz.Beckinsale geçen sene Cannes Film Festivalinde bu elbiseyi giymiş , saçlarınına romantic hava vericek hafif bir dalga tercih etmiş.Öyle düzgün bir fiziği varki ,kıyafetin içinde son derece zarif duruyor. Benden tam puan aldı.

Aynı elbiseyi Kardashian ise geçtiğimiz hafta Golden Globe sonrası yapılan partide giydi.Beckinsale'in zarif havasının tersine Kardashian oldukça vamp ve seksi bir görüntüye sahipti. Saçını malesef beğenmedim.Geniş kalçası elbiseye tam oturmuş ve Beckinsale'in aynı elbisenin içindeki  zarafetine karşılık  malesef Kardashian'ın balık eti vücudunda aynı etkiyi yaratmamış. 

Sonuç olarak bu seferki  "Hangi ünlüye daha çok yakışmış?"  galibimiz;

Here I am with a new "Who wore it better?" post. This time we are gonna look which celebrity Kate Beckinsale  or  Kim Kardashian wore the black , silk Nina  Ricci gown better.Beckinsale has worn this dress on last year's Canne's Film Festival , she has chosen a wavy hair that creates  a romantic look. She has such a perfect body type hence she looks extremely elegant on this dress.I gave her the thumps up.

Kim Kardashian has worn the very same dress on the Golden Globe after night party last week.Contrary to Beckinsale's elegant look , she had a vamp and sexy one. Unfortunately , I didn't like her hair.Her large hips sit to  the gown , despite the elegancy of Beckinsale in the same gown , her full-figured body did not create the same effect.

As a conclusion , the winner of the " Who wore it better?" post ;

Golden Globe'da  giyilen birbirinden güzel kıyafetlere dün bu yazımda yer vermiştim. Bugün ise Angelina Jolie ve Anne Hathaway karşılaştırmasıyla karşınızdayım.Her iki ünlü de uzun kollu ve sade elbiseler tercih etmiş. İki elbisenin de üzerinde pullar var ,  Hathaway'in Armani Prive'i  tamamen pullarla kaplı , Jolie'nin tercihi olan Atelier Versace ise daha az pullu.Yırtmaç veya dekolte tercih edilmemiş , tercihlerini sade şıklıktan yana kullanmışlar. 

Özellikle Hathaway elbisesi içinde deniz kızı gibi görünüyor , elbise vücut hatlarını ve kıvrımlarını ortaya çıkarmış.Omuz kısmı da Versace'ye kıyasla daha hoş görünüyor.Rengi de oldukça hoş. Dün de belirttiğim gib iJolie'nin elbise rengini beğenmedim.Modeli ise şık ve Jolie'ye yakışmış.

Elbiseler gibi saç modelleri de birbirine oldukça benziyor.Ben bu tarz kıyafetler ile özensiz görünümlü saçları sevmiyorum , topuz herzaman kıyafetin duruşunu tamamlayan ve asil  görünüm yaratan bir saç modeli.Ama Golden Globe'daki pek çok ünlü gibi Hathaway ve Jolie'de açık saçı tercih etmişler.

I have mentioned the amazing gowns that was worn in Golden Globe in this post yesterday. And today, here I come with a comparison between Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway. Both celebrity has chosen plain and long sleeved gowns. Both gows are embellished , Hathaway’s Armani Prive is covered by sequins  while  the choice of Jolie,Atelier Versace , is less sequined. Neither slashes nor decolettes are preffered. They  preference the pure elegancy.

Especially , Hathaway seems like a mermaid in her dress , it showed up her body lines and curls. The shoulder part seems more well-fashioned comparing to Versace. The color of the dress is gorgeous. As I have mentioned yesterday , I did not like the color of Jolie’s dress. But the model is chic and it seems good on Jolie.

Like the dresses , the hair styles are condierably similar. I do not like the sloppy looked hair with such kind of gowns, a bun generally completes the posture of the dress and it creates a classy look. But like many of the other celebrities on Golden Globe , Hathaway and Jolie have chosen straggle hairs.

Bu yazımda belirttiğim gibi dün gece 68.Golden Globe ödülleri sahipleri buldu ve yine ödüllerden çok kırmızı halıdaki görünüşleriyle ünlüler ilgi odağı oldu.Gelin gecede kimler neler giymiş bir göz atalım.

As I have mentioned  in this post 68th Golden Globe Awards  have found their owners and again the looks of the celebrities on red carpet have been spotlighted more than the awards.Let's check on who wore what on that night.

Jennifer Love Hewitt (Romona Keveza)

1960'lardan esintilerin giysisine yansıdığı Hewitt her zamanki sempatikliğiyle göz kamaştırıyordu.

Hewitt's dress was carrying a 1960's breeze and she was sparkling  with her warmheartedness.

Kaley Cuoco(Catherine Kidd)

Ona bayılıyorum ! Kıyafet tercihi oldukça başarılı, rengi hem tenine uymuş hem de modaya !Gecenin tartışmasız şık  isimlerinden.

I love her ! Her gown choice is pretty prospering, the color is up to date and also matching to her skin tone.She is one of the most classy woman of the night ,beyond question.

Olivia Wilde( Marchesa)

Pullarla bezeli elbisesi çok şık.İnce belini ortaya çıkarmış. Eğer saçını da topuz yapmış olsaydı 4/4'lük olucaktı.

The sequined dress is so chic. It shows up her  wasp waist . If she has  worn her hair in a bun , she would have been perfect.

Angelina Jolie(Atelier Versace)

Otoritelerce çok beğenilmiş. Ama ben oldum olası zümrüt yeşilini sevmem.Elbise güzel ama renginden dolayı çok da sevmedim.

She has been really  appreciated by the authorities. But , I , personally, do not like the emerald green. The dress is pretty but I did not like it too much because of its color.

Natalie Portman(Viktor & Rolf)

Portman'ın elbise seçimi hamile olduğunu göz önünde bulundurursak oldukça şık , rengi de çok tatlı bir pembe.Ama yine de göğüs kısmındaki kırmızı detayı biraz basit buldum.Kırmızı & pembe birbirine çok da uyumlu kombine edilebilir renkler değiller.

Portman's gown choice is pretty classy considering the fact she is pregnant and the color of it is a sweet pink. But , I think the red detail on the cheast is unsophisticated,though. Red & pink are not smoothly combinable colors. 

Lea Michele(Oscar de la Renta)
Çok şık , tek omuza verilen ağırlığı ve kıvrımları çok beğendim. Michele bu tür organizasyonlarda genellikle çok iyi tercihler yapıyor.

Very chic,I liked theconcenration of  focus on one shoulder and ruffles.Michele,generally,  makes outstanding choices for such kinda organizations.

January Jones(Versace)
Gecenin iddialı isimlerinden . Oldukça dikkat çekici ,dekoltesi farklı Versace bir kıyafet seçen Jones 1950'i anımsatan saçıyla da oldukça güzel görünüyor.

One of the challenging looks of the night. Jones who has chosen a considerably spectecular Versace dress which has a different decollete seems gorgeous with her hair that reminds 1950's.

Sandra Bullock(Jenny Packham)
Bu sene pembe oldukça revaçta.Bullock da bu modaya uymuş , şık ve pullu bir elbise tercih etmiş. Ben bu kadar şık elbiselerle fönlü ve açık saçı pek de yakıştırmıyorum.Topuz her zaman daha asil ve elbiseyi ortaya çıkaran bir saç modeli. Kahkülleri de fazla yoğun , kısaca saçını beğenmedim.

Pink is all the fashion this year.Bullock has been  up to date and chosen a chic and sequined gown.I do not make plain hair go with such  classy dresses. A bun is always more elegant and it shows up the model of the dress a cut above. Her  fringe is too dense , namely , I did not like hair.

 Golden Globe'a  damgasını vuran renk kesinlikle "yeşil" oldu !

Carter bize Vivienne Westwood bile giyseniz gecenin en kötüsü olabiliceğinizi kanıtlamak ister gibi. İki ayrı renkte giydiği ayakkabılar ve simgesi haline gelen gözlükler felaket.

Carter is like she is trying to prove us someone could be the worst look of the  night even wearing a Vivienne Westwood gown. The shoes that have two different colors and the sunglasses which have been her symbol are just miserable.

Ayrıca, en sevdiğim iki dizinin "Glee" ve "The Big Bang Theory" oyuncuları ; Chris Colfer , Jane Lynch ve en önemlisi Jim Parsons ödül kazandılar.
Besides, the performers of my favorite Tv series "Glee" and  "The Big Bang Theory" ; Chris Colfer , Jane Lynch and  above all  Jim Parsons are granted by the Golden Globe awards.


Evet, Golden Globe da bittiğine göre artık heyecanla Oscar Ödül Törenini bekliyoruz ! 
Since the Golden Globe has already finishes, we are all looking forward to the Oscar Awards!
