53. Grammy Ödülleri bu gece Türkiye saatiyle sabaha karşı sahiplerini buldu. Kırmızı Halı görüntülerini genel olarak değerlendirmek gerekirse pek çok ödül törenine göre vasat buldum. Çok şıktı , büyüleyiciydi diyebileceğim pek  görüntü yoktu. Şimdi gelin gecedeki kıyafetlere birlikte bakalım.

The 53rd Grammy Awards have been located the owners  tonight towards morning (according to the local time in Turkey) . To analyze the Red Carpet looks generally , the dresses/gowns  were average comparing to many other award ceremonies. There were not so many looks that I can qualify as "very chic" or "captivating" . Let's look the outfits of the night together. 

 

Katy Perry diğerlerine kıyasla bence gecenin en sevimli gözüken ünlüsü. Özellikle performansında kullandığı etek ve büstiyer(elbise de olabilir ,net belli değil)  oldukça şık. Payet işlemeler de kıyafete yakışmış. Renk seçimi de güzel. 

Katy Perry  is the cuttiest one comparing the other celebrities of the night for me. Especially , the skirt and bustier(it may be a dress , it is not that obvious) is pretty classy. The sequin needleworks on dress is well suited.The color choice is also delightful.

Lady Gaga bildiğimiz Lady Gaga.Yine geceye damgasını vurmak için garip hallere bürünmüş.Kendinden söz ettirmeyi başarmış mı? Elbette!

Lady Gaga is the Lady Gaga we know. Again, she has diguised to a weird look to to hit the headlines. Did she achieve to make an indelible impression ? Sure, she did !

 

Rihanna Jean Paul  Gaultier 2011  İlkbahar Koleksiyonundan transparan bir elbise tercih etmiş.Vücudunu güzel sarmış. Rihanna genelde daha sofistike tercihler yaptıgından ben bu tercihi pek de beğenmedim.Hele saçını hiç beğenmedim.

Rihanna has chosen a transperant gown from the 2011 Spring Collection of Jean Paul  Gaultier . It fitter her body well. I did not like her  gown choice this time  because she used to choose more sophisticated dresses generally. Above all, I did not like her hair.

 

Tüm bunlar Lady Gaga'nın suçu! Önceden bu tarz garip saçları , yoğun ilgi çekme çabalarını bu kadar sık görmezdik.Ondan sonra gariplik moda akımı halini aldı. Yoksa Nicki Minaj'ın saç modeline başka bir anlam yükleyemiyorum. Kedi kadın tarzı kıyafeti ise Givenchy Haute Couture Sonbahar 2007 sezonuna ait.Baştan aşağı leopar deseni ile kaplanmış olması irrite edici.

It is all Lady Gaga's guilt! We were not used to see such weird style  hairs , such attention seeking efforts this often beforehand. After her, the oddness has been a fashion trend. Otherwise, I can not ascribe a meaning to Nicki Minaj's hair model. Her catwoman costume is from Givenchy Haute Couture 2007 Fall collection. Being covered with a leopard print from head to foot is irritating. 

 

Miley Cyrus'ın payet kaplı  Cavalli elbisesi çok şık ve sofistike. Takıları da kıyafete çok yakışmış. Saçları da elbiseye hoş bir hava katmış.Ama kıyafet Cyrus'ın yaşı için biraz ağır kaçmış.Ben ona açık tonlarda , tül ,saten ve dantel elbiseleri daha çok yakıştırıyorum. Yine de gecenin en şık isimlerinden.

Miley Cyrus's  sequined Cavalli gown is very chic and sophisticated. Her accessories are well chosen. Her hair seems desirable. Beside these, the gown is not appropriate to her age . She looks prettier in  lace , sheer or satinee dresses that have pale colors. Nonetheless,she is one of the most elegant celebrities of the night. 

 Jennifer Hudson'ın lacivert Versacesiyle uyumsuz siyah ayakkabılarını saymazsak ben görüntüsünü beğendim. Etek kısımlarındaki kıvrımlar ve o havalı görüntü hoşuma gitti. 

Dismissing the fact that her black shoes are unwell matched to her navy-blue Versace , I loved her look. The ruffles on the bottom part of dress and the nifty look are delightful.

 

Tamam, Jennifer Lopez'in güzel bacakları var. Ama yine de tunik olabilecek boya sahip bir elbiseyi giymesi göze hoş gözükmüyor. Ayrıca çantanın,elbisenin,ayakkabının tamamen gri payet işlemeli olması da göz yoruyor.

Ok, Jennifer Lopez has great legs. But still, wearing a dress that has a tunic length does not seem delicate. Further, the dress,the shoes and the cluth are all grey sequined and this strains the eyes overmuch.

Ben bir vintage sever olarak evin hiç bir yerinde o anda moda olan  tasarımların kullanılmasından hoşlanmıyorum.Tüm evler tek kalıptan çıkmış , mağazadan alınmış ve direk eve getirilmiş,içine hiçbirşey katılmamış gibi geliyor.Ben bunun yerine kendine has tarzı ve ruhu olan , klasik ama bunun yanında şık olan tasarımlardan hoşlanıyorum.

I ,as a vintage lover, do not like the  furniture designs that are "in" at that moment to be used while furnishing a house. All the houses seem like slavish imitations, they are taken from the store and brought directly to home , the are like nothing has been interfused .Instead of this , I like the ones that has their unique style and soul , classical but classy designs.

Bu nedenle yatak odası döşerken kullanıcağım öğeleri mutlaka bu doğrultuda seçicem. Yatak odasına en çok yakıştığını düşündüğüm mobilya rengi beyaz. Beyaz sade bir şıklık yaratıyor .Vintage parçaların üzerindeki oymalar bu sadeliğe göz alıcı bir hava katıyor.Ceylan ayaklar rustik havayı mükemmel tamamlıyor.

Hence, I am gonna choose the items in this direction while furnishing my bedroom. To me , the best  furniture color for a bedroom is white. White creates a bald elegance. The appliques on the vintage pieces creates a spectacular look to this baldness. The Qeen Anne legs completes the rustic look perfectly. 

 Güllü oymalar antika mobilyalara çok yakışıyor hatta bence olmazsa olmazı.Beyaz üzerine yapılmış hafif eskitmeler de mobilyanın dokusu ile son derece uyum sağlıyor.

The rose appliques suit the antique furnitures very well , as a matter of fact, they are "must" for such kinds. A little ageing method on white base  complies good with the pattern of the furniture.

All the furnitures in the  pictures above are the ones I would like to use when I furnish my home.Even I could not find the same ones , when a good reseach is made, very similar ones could be found in many stores. Leastways, they can be constructed by request. 

Evimi nasıl döşeyeceğimi aklımda tasarladığım için yukarıdaki dolap kollarını Zara Home'da görür görmez aldım. O kadar şekerlerdiki!Porselen kollar kolayca monte edilebilirler. Eğer siz de yatak odanıza vintage bir hava katmak isterseniz Zara Home , Tepe Home gibi mağazalardan kolaylıkla bu konseptte ürünler bulabilirsiniz. Son olarak bu tür bir döşeme ile kullanılacak yatak takımlarının da soft renklerde uçuk mavi,uçuk pembe su yeşili gibi renkler olması gerekiyorki o zaman rüya gibi görüntü ortaya çıkıyor.Bunun için de en uygun adres elbetteki English Home mağazası. 

As I planned how to design my home in my mind , I bought these handles for closets when I saw them in Zara Home. They were so cute! These porcelain handles can  easily be set up. If you want to enliven your bedroom with some vintage breeze , you can find such products in stores like Zara Home and Tepe Home. Finally, the coverlet set to use for such kind of furnishing should be on soft colors such as baby blue, pale pink or sea green, thereby, a dreamy look emerges. The best option is definitely English Home in this case.

There are also nautical  , polka dot , music notes and  Rachel's signature golden stars precut nail patches. As a Gleek , I loved the collection. The colors are so vibrant. A nice collection has been formed with sweet colors.

Anna Wintour vs. Carey Mulligan

"Hangi ünlüye daha çok yakışmış?" konulu postumuzda bugün moda dünyasının stil ikonu Anna Wintour ve son zamanların en tarz ve şık isimlerinden Carey Mulligan var.Her iki ünlü de Lanvin marka elbiseleriyle karşımıza çıkıyor.Her ikisi de elbiseyi oldukça güzel taşımış.Mulligan'ın ayakkabıları model olarak daha şık ama rengi elbiseyle pek de uyumlu değil.Wintour'un ayakkabı tercihi daha yerinde.Her ikisi de elbiseyi kolye ile tamamlamışlar ama zaten desenli olan elbiseyi kolye ile tamamlamak karışık ve hoş olmayan bir görüntü ortaya çıkarmış. Mulligan'ın clucthını da beğendim,keşke ayakkabı da onun gibi siyah olsaydı.Sonuç olarak ben Mulligan'ı daha çok beğendim.Siz ne dersiniz?

Today , I am gonna analyze  the looks of fashion world 's style icon ; Anna Wintour and one of the most stylish and chicest woman of recent times; Carey Mulligan in the  post called "Who wore it better?" .We see both celebrity with their Lanvin dresses.Both of them looks fabulous.The model of Mulligan's shoes are more classy but the color of the shoes  is  not well matched with the color of dress.The shoe choice of Wintour is more suitable.Both celebrity has completed the look of the dress with a necklace but it created a complicated  and an unappealing look to combine a patterned dress with such  necklaces.I loved the clucth of Mulligan , I wish she would have had black shoes as well. To conclude; I loved the look of Mulligan.What do you think?
